Western Suede Booties & Chambray
One classic that has always been in my wardrobe since my J-Crew obsession days in middle school has been chambray button downs and pullovers. I practically live in denim during the fall and winter months, so an added bit of the denim style is no surprise. Chambray tops are an essential layering pieces under chunky cardigans and cable knit sweaters. They present a very relaxed and comfortable look, while still looking put together and stylish. For me, chambray tops symbolize the perfect weekend piece to run around town in or watch a Sunday football game with friends. During the fall when I usually opt for neutral tans and browns, any added color, such as a light chambray blue, adds just enough color.
These suede booties from Sam Edelman give off total western vibes, which is currently on trend but an item I’ll be wearing for years to come. As I’m in the south the majority of the year, it’s expected to show a little western style. They have the perfect amount of height while still being very comfortable, even with the pointed toe. Another great company for western style boots is Frye, if you're looking to spend a little more for a pair that’ll last you a lifetime. Marc Fisher has also come out with great trendy options for this season, with more of a mid range price.
