An Afternoon in Savannah

The month of May is exceptionally beautiful in the south, even though their good weather period lasts 10 months out of the year. The weather is sunny with an occasional rain shower, which can be the most relaxing sound as you sip tea on your porch. At this point, if you've been reading my blog posts for a while you'll start to see that I can't stay away from my favorite spots in South Carolina & Georgia. First stop this afternoon was The Paris Market, pictured below.

The Paris Market has the cutest selection of artisan sandwiches, macaroons, & lattes. I sipped on a matcha latte (so yummy!) and enjoyed the view of the city. I guess you could say that it's my little bit of Paris in Savannah. I'm still awaiting the day when I can check off going to Chocolat by Adam Turoni. I mean come on, it's gourmet chocolate in a chic store.

There's something so dreamy about Spanish moss. It always reminds me of the Nicholas Sparks' movies (sigh). The last song was filmed on Tybee Island right outside of Savannah, not a bad place for Miley and Liam to fall in love.
