My Favorite Espadrilles

I'm a big fan of espadrilles, if you've been following me for a while you know that I wore my first pair to my high school graduation two years ago. They were the tall wedge espadrilles by Soludos in pink, and I still love them to this day. I'll tell you what, walking in the grass during my graduation wasn't so bad in wedges,  which is why they are the perfect summer sandal. There was no fear of tripping on stage or waddling down the aisle. Maybe one day i'll get a little more used to walking in heels.

More recently I discovered the brand Castaner. They have an adorable, wide range of espadrilles. They even have a collection with Manolo Blahnik. They're more expensive than Soludos (which I love) however their high wedges offer more of a platform. So instead of having the same pair of espadrilles, I could go between two similar but different looks. I'm also obsessed with the crochet look that this pair has, I mean come on, doesn't that just scream summertime

I needed to get out of my usual denim shorts, so I opted for these striped high waisted shorts by BCBG Generation. I love the style & cut of these. They were true to size and were under $100! If you're looking for a more affordable option, Saks Off 5th carries BCBG Generation, which is where I purchase a lot of their pieces. They also have a ton of high waisted shorts similar to these, such as these, these, and this gingham pair
