Sconset in Stripes
I'm here in Nantucket, Massachusetts for the week, and I'm taking it all the sights (and eats!). This morning my parents, my boyfriend and I explored the town of Siasconset (referred to as Sconset). Even though this is my third time to the island, we haven't had a rental car until now, so it was ideal to explore all different areas of the island. Trust me the island is bigger than it seems. The quaint little town features old shingled homes, placed high on the bluff. You'll be sure to spot more window boxes filled with bright flowers, and tall green grasses lining the shore.
Siasconset Market was the gem of the town. There is a small section with your Nantucket gear and the cutest stationary. I grabbed an iced cold brew here- the people were so sweet!
We stopped by Claudette's for a quick bite, and it was definitely worth the recommendation. If you're looking for a yummy sandwhich, fresh iced tea and kettle chips, this is the perfect spot.
It seems like there is really no where you could go wrong with the restaurants on the island. If you want to know the best spots, Mackenzie from Design Darling has recently posted her guide to Nantucket & it has been super helpful.
