Accessories to Boost Your Winter Wardrobe

Once the holidays are over and I put away my red plaids and sequin dresses, my winter outfits fall back into their regular routine. I simply rely on accessories to make my outfits a little more more exciting. When I dress more casually such as leggings and an oversized sweatshirt, I add a pair of chunky gold hoops or a structured bag, & my look is instantly more elevated.

I’ve found that a handbag makes all the difference. Switching out my daily tote bag for a more structured shoulder bag or crossbody adds a dressed-up look to any outfit. The pairing of an oversized-chunky knit with a structured shoulder bag is one of my favorite looks in the winter.

Of course I couldn’t leave out statement earrings. I recently discovered a love for all pearlescent jewelry, specifically the heart earrings shown above and everything from the talented Nicoha Bathie, her statement earrings are incredibly beautiful and unique.
